Visit Museum & Art Swindon and discover real Saxon treasure, then have a go at making your own to take home! Explore Swindon’s Saxon treasures in the Museum and then design your very own Saxon brooch or sword. Our friendly team will show you how to design your own Saxon treasures in this relaxed 45 minute bite-size session. Have a go at dressing up as a Saxon warrior and see if you can lift the wooden shield to prove your warrior credentials!

 

All materials provided. No experience needed. A session designed for families to create and play together.

 

The event is free, but tickets must be booked in advance by emailing maslearning@swindon.gov.uk.

There are 5 time slots throughout the day:

10.30am to 11.15am

11.30am to 12.15pm

12.45pm to 1.30pm

1.45pm to 2.30pm

2.45pm to 3.30pm

Please specify which time slot you would like to attend and how many adult and child tickets you would like.

Tickets are time limited. You will only be able to attend the session you have booked. Please ensure you book enough tickets for your entire group, including children.
