Terms & Conditions

1. Purchasing tickets

Museum & Art Swindon is free to attend and there is no need to book unless your visit is a schools learning visit or you are visiting in a group of 10 or more.
Groups

For more information or to book a group visit, please call 01793 (tbc) or email (tbc)@swindon.gov.uk. Please note that all group bookings need to be made at least two weeks in advance.

2. Attending an event

Note that animals are not allowed in Museum & Art Swindon (except assistance dogs).

Museum & Art Swindon reserves the right to refuse admission to any visitor and or ask visitors at any time to leave. Museum & Art Swindon may conduct security searches on entry.

Museum & Art Swindon reserves the right to close or restrict parts or all of the attractions at any time.

You are advised to check last entry time, as indicated on the Museum & Art Swindon website. Visitors may not be admitted after this time.

For our visitors’ security and safety, Museum & Art Swindon has a bag policy in place: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring large shopping bags, rucksacks or travel luggage into the Museum.  All bags may be inspected by Museum & Art Swindon staff.  Baby buggies and bags containing necessary medical equipment, or for use in nursing and baby care will be permitted, subject to the owners agreeing that these items may be searched.  Museum & Art Swindon regrets that the Museum does not have storage for bags or coats.

Filming and photography is welcomed at Museum & Art Swindon for private non-commercial purposes.  If you wish to film or take photographs at Museum & Art Swindon for non-private and/or commercial purposes, then please contact us at MuseumArtSwindon@swindon.gov.uk

Third party photography and filming of school children on organised school visits is not permitted in the Museum.

Accessibility Museum & Art Swindon is fully accessible – with ramps giving wheelchair and pushchair access to the building and a lift to the museum, which is on the first floor.

3. Cancellation, change or postponement of an event

Museum & Art Swindon reserves the right to cancel an event at any time.  You should always check that an event is going ahead at the scheduled date and time prior to commencing your journey to Museum & Art Swindon.  For up to date information, please visit our social media pages.

4. Privacy

Please view our Privacy Policy for information as to when and why we collect personal information from you and how we use it, when you buy any online products from Museum & Art Swindon. Please note: our payment provider is Stripe.
