Bayeux Tapestry Interactive Storytelling Session 27 October 10.30am
Join us in the museum galleries this half term for our Bayeux Tapestry Story Interactive storytelling sessions.
Listen to the tall tale of 1066, the Norman Conquest and the Battle of Hastings. Complete with treacherous enemies, headless soldiers, fake news, kebabs and dodgy haircuts! The bits you know (arrow in the eye), the bits you don’t (the mystery woman and the missing ending), and everything in between. Discover Swindon’s unique role in the Tapestry and find out about life in Swindon at the time. Learn some battle tactics and hold some replica objects and original artefacts from Swindon at the time.

Each session lasts 30 minutes. Suitable for ages 6+
Tickets: £4 per person. Children under 18 must be supervised at all times.
Sessions are also available at 1pm and 3.30pm
